Yumi Lawlor is Head of Legal of ShopMy, a platform empowering Creators at the forefront of the trust economy. She started her career in entertainment law and has since worked at the intersection of innovation and the law as in-house counsel at Instacart, Macy’s, and Etsy. She earned her law degree from what is now the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco (fka UC Hastings) and her undergraduate degree from New York University.
Yumi is a member of the California State Bar. She also won the NAPABA Law Foundation’s 2009 Judge Thomas Tang and Dr. Pearl Tang Moot Court Competition and is proudly a 2020 NAPABA Leadership Advancement Program fellow.
