Hon. Evelyn Gong currently serves as a Judge in New York City Civil Court, Queens County. Prior to her service on the bench, Judge Gong maintained her own law practice and worked with clients in public interest and politics, including non-profit groups and political organizations, as well as business entities of different sizes. Previously, Judge Gong was a senior attorney at Perkins Coie LLP, in the firm’s political law practice group. Before joining Perkins Coie, Judge Gong served as counsel on the staff of a presidential campaign, and, even earlier in her legal career, Judge Gong held various in-house counsel positions at Fortune 500 companies. She has taught as an adjunct professor at St. John’s University School of Law as well. Judge Gong received a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and a JD from St. John’s University School of Law.
