Hon. E. Grace Park is an elected Manhattan Civil Court judge assigned to Bronx Supreme Court, Criminal Term.
Judge Park was born in Seoul, Korea and attended elementary school there through the second grade. She immigrated to the U.S. to join her mother in Chicago, Illinois and attended public school in Chicago through the eighth grade. She spent the first year of high school at a boarding school in Connecticut and then attended and graduated from Brookline High School, as she and her mother moved to Brookline, Massachusetts.
Judge Park attended Dartmouth College, where she double majored in Government and Asian Studies. She holds two master’s degrees, one in East Asian Studies from Harvard University and one in Public Administration from Columbia University. She received her law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 1999, where she was Senior Editor of the Journal of Constitutional Law, as well as President of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association.
After graduating from law school, Judge Park served as a law clerk to the Honorable Jacob Mishler of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York, followed by five years at two law firms as a litigation associate. Judge Park then entered the public sector, representing children in Brooklyn and Manhattan Family Courts with the Legal Aid Society, Juvenile Rights Practice, as a staff attorney and supervisor.
Judge Park got elected as a Manhattan Civil Court judge in 2019 after running a contested primary. She was assigned to Bronx Family Court for five years and has been in Bronx Supreme Court, Criminal Term since 2025.
