Gary Lo is an Associate General Counsel at Meta and serves as the lead product counsel for Facebook Reels. He regularly advises on AI, privacy and IP issues from a global perspective. Before joining Meta, Gary was the lead counsel for the Digital Advertising Sales, Products & Partnerships group at NBCUniversal Media. Prior to that, he was a litigation associate at Davis Polk & Wardwell in New York and an IP lawyer at Allens Linklaters in Sydney. Gary has also volunteered for Immigration Equality and Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts. He is a graduate of the University of Sydney Law School and Columbia Law School.
