Christopher Arcitio is a Litigation Partner at Kaufman Dolowich LLP, where he focuses his practice on insurance defense, professional liability and insurance coverage and insurance coverage litigation. A 2017 St. John’s University School of Law graduate, Christopher handles complex and high exposure civil litigation lawsuits from responding to the initial summons and complaint, motions to dismiss, discovery motions, conducting party depositions, designating liability and damages experts, mediations, trial prep, motions in limine and, eventually defending clients at trials in New York state supreme, civil and federal court. He is also admitted to practice in the State of New Jersey. He has participated in webinars and publications on bodily claims in the insurance industry, including amendments in New York’s Civil Practice Law and Rules and the rise of federal RICO lawsuits involving staged personal injury accidents in New York. Christopher is also an Adjunct Professor of Lawyering & Legal Writing at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. He is the President of the Filipino American Lawyers of New York, a Leadership Academy Fellow of the National Filipino American Lawyers Association, a National Committee Member for the NAPABA Judge Thomas Tang and Dr. Pearl Tang Moot Court Competition, and is currently a Cohort Fellow for the NAPABA Leadership Advancement Program.
