Kristina Louey

Kristina Louey is Legal Counsel at Thayer Leadership, a West Point-–based leadership development company, where she advises the business on a broad range of legal and strategic matters, including corporate governance, commercial contracting, employment, compliance, cybersecurity, data privacy, intellectual property, and risk management. As the company’s sole in-house lawyer until recently, she also manages the company’s relationships with outside counsel, giving her a unique perspective on what clients value when selecting and retaining legal advisors. 

Kristina’s career spans large and mid-sized law firms, outside general counsel work, her own solo practice, and in-house legal leadership. She has practiced in Beijing, Hong Kong, England, Canada, West Point, and New York City, advising clients across a wide range of industries and legal issues. 

Beyond her legal practice, Kristina has served as Chair of the Board of Trustees of The Barrow Group, a nonprofit Off-Broadway theater company, and currently serves as President of her New York City cooperative corporation.
