Julie J. Kim is Group Vice President, Legal, Distribution & Commercial Partnerships at Warner Bros. Discovery, where she leads legal support for the company’s distribution business and strategic commercial partnerships. Over her decade-long tenure with the company, she has helped negotiate key distribution agreements and played a significant role in the launch of HBO Max, advising business leaders on matters spanning distribution, business development, marketing, finance, and strategy.
Prior to Warner Bros. Discovery, Julie was an associate at Proskauer Rose LLP, where she advised clients on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other corporate transactions. She received her J.D. from Washington University School of Law and her B.A. from Northwestern University, and is admitted to practice law in New York.
Outside of work, Julie enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters and exploring her Brooklyn neighborhood.
